Website Information

We have created this website to be an educational tool to raise public awareness of the environmental, health, and socio-economic impacts of the front end of the nuclear fuel cycle.  We are concerned about the contamination and waste surrounding each of the steps in the creation and use of nuclear fuel for power plants.  We are concerned about the staggering use of our precious water resources at these facilities, especially with our current climate crisis causing drought throughout much of the US.  We are concerned that a large part of the nuclear energy story has been withheld, or conveniently omitted, by industry proponents.  Only an informed public can make wise decisions about the roads we will travel in the quest for energy.
